To design a triptych poster set that unites the three defining architectural styles of Sarasota:
Mediterranean Revival, Mid-Century Modern, and Postmodernism.
The posters look must make these distinct architectural styles into one cohesive visual system while clearly communicating the event’s details.
history
From 1941 to 1966, Sarasota, Florida, became a hotbed of architectural innovation, known as the Sarasota School of Architecture. A group of visionary architects redefined modernism through the lens of Florida’s climate and lifestyle. Though never a formal movement, it became a defining chapter in American architecture and its results are seen throughout the city of Sarasota today!
