We were tasked with visualizing an illustrative system to illustrate the diversity and beauty that make three distinct garden environments in Marie Selby Botanical Garden.
a walk in the gardens
Marie Selby Botanical Gardens offers 45 acres of bayfront sanctuary in Sarasota, Florida, connecting visitors with air plants, native flora, and the rich history of the region.

IRL references
Before starting the project, I went to the botanical garden to collect references and get a sense of mood and atmosphere at the garden.
working in modules
Before designing the frames, I created a modular system of several objects from the botanical garden. though not all of the modules in the final frames, it was important to create a cohesive system to show the variety, yet cohesion of the botanical gardens.
