I have always wanted to build a usable typeface, so I finally did it! I've never done a project like this before but here's the process of creating my first typeface and learning Glyphs 3!
guidelines
To add some restraints to the final product, I chose a tone follow while designing:

font development
I designed each character in groups with like shape languages. I grouped them in square, triangle, circle, and hybrids to keep the process efficient. This came in helpful later when manually adding the kerning to each character at the end.
