Creating a typeface
It has always been a dream of mine to build a usable typeface, so I finally made that dream turn into a reality! I've never done a project like this before but here's the process of creating my first typeface and learning Glyphs 3!

Design Process
Font Inspiration
Inspired by the enduring purity of honey, this typeface blends modern elegance with timeless longevity. Its smooth forms and balanced curves echo honey’s natural fluidity, creating a font that feels both fresh and enduring. Designed to stand the test of time, it brings a quiet sophistication to any visual identity.
Font Development
I designed each character in groups with like shape languages. I grouped them in square, triangle, circle, and hybrids to keep the process efficient. This came in helpful later when manually adding the kerning to each character at the end.
Teaser Animation Process
Styleframes
To promote the font I wanted to create a teaser animation. I chose the subject of Impressionist art as a vehicle of mood and in helping promote the elegant font. Below are styleframes design prior to animating!
